IIE Team - Leah MasonLeah Mason, Ed.D.

Lead  |  Research, Evaluation & Learning Team

Dr. Mason oversees a portfolio of research projects for IIE and external clients. She has over fifteen years of experience in the fields of international and foreign language education in higher education. She previously led the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teacher Programs, Project Global Officer, and Language Training Centers. Dr. Mason earned her Ed.D. in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University.


IIE Team - Jodi SangerJodi Sanger

Research Analyst  |  Research, Evaluation & Learning Team

Jodi supports a variety of research and evaluation activities for projects including Generation Study Abroad, PEER, and the Graduate Learning Overseas (GLO) research.  Prior to joining IIE in 2016, she served as Education Abroad Program Manager at AMIDEAST in Abu Dhabi, a research position supporting Middle East media research, and a program position supporting the International Visitor Leadership Program. Ms. Sanger has also volunteered as a virtual exchange senior facilitator for Soliya’s Connect Program since 2015. She received her master's degree in Social Research from the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of California San Diego.


IIE Team - Sinan ZeinoSinan Zeino

Research Graphics & Web Content Editor  |  Research, Evaluation & Learning Team

Sinan Zeino is a Research Graphics and Web Content Editor for the Research, Evaluation & Learning Team at IIE. In this role, he creates graphics and visualizations to educate and communicate information to internal and external audiences about some of IIE’s key projects. Sinan also provides design input to IIE website developers and maintains the Open Doors and other IIE research project websites. Sinan joined IIE in 2019 with more than 6 years of experience in various for-profit and non-profit organizations. He also has a close relationship to IIE, as he benefitted from IIE’s Emergency Student Fund in order to come to the United States and complete his education, obtaining a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in 2019.
