President, First American Docutech

Amy Brandt is President of First American Docutech, a part of the First American family of companies, providing an end-to-end integrated digital mortgage experience supporting over a third of all mortgage closings in the U.S.  Ms. Brandt led Docutech as CEO from 2017 to 2020 through tremendous growth and its acquisition by First American.

 

Ms. Brandt has over 20 years of experience leading private equity backed companies in the mortgage, software, tech and financial services industries, producing high growth and successful shareholder outcomes.

 

Ms. Brandt has been awarded HousingWire’s 2018 Vanguard Award, which celebrates the U.S. Housing economy’s leaders of the year, as well as the 2019 and 2020 PROGRESS in Lending’s Most Powerful Women in FinTech award. In May 2019, Brandt was also awarded a Centennial Medal by the Institute of International Education for her role in the Scholar Rescue Fund.

 

In addition to her executive career, Ms. Brandt currently serves as Chairman of the Board of SunToWater Technologies LLC. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
