Nichole Johnson is the Head of Private Sector and Government Program Development, design of international education programs for IIE’s clients, including foundations, corporations, and governments, concerned with developing an educated workforce through scholarship and training programs and leveraging their assets for social impact.
With 30 years of service at IIE, Peggy Blumenthal serves as Senior Counselor to IIE's President. She is an expert in international student exchanges and mobility, with a wealth of experience in Asia and the Pacific, as well as in U.S.-China exchanges.
Rajika Bhandari, Ph.D., provides strategic guidance to the IIE research, evaluation and thought leadership activities and directs IIE’s Center for Academic Mobility Research and Impact. She leads the flagship Open Doors and Project Atlas projects on global student mobility, and advises impact studies of international fellowship and exchange programs for clients that include U.S. and foreign government agencies, foundations, and multilateral agencies.
Dr. Martel oversees key research in international and comparative education through her own scholarly work and those of the REL Unit. Her oversight of such key resources in the international education community, such as the Open Doors project of international student mobility, continue to advance the field and provide strategic insight into the future of international education.
