Nichole Johnson is the Head of Private Sector and Government Program Development, design of international education programs for IIE’s clients, including foundations, corporations, and governments, concerned with developing an educated workforce through scholarship and training programs and leveraging their assets for social impact.
With 30 years of service at IIE, Peggy Blumenthal serves as Senior Counselor to IIE's President. She is an expert in international student exchanges and mobility, with a wealth of experience in Asia and the Pacific, as well as in U.S.-China exchanges.
Dr. Martel oversees key research in international and comparative education through her own scholarly work and those of the REL Unit. Her oversight of such key resources in the international education community, such as the Open Doors project of international student mobility, continue to advance the field and provide strategic insight into the future of international education.
Dr. Mason has over fifteen years of experience managing research and programmatic work focused on international and foreign language education in higher education, including language acquisition during study abroad.
Ms. Valuy specializes in mixed methods research and participatory evaluations of international education fellowship and leadership development programs. In her role as Evaluation and Learning Lead, Ms. Valuy manages evaluations for several clients, including the U.S. Department of State, National Science Foundation, Cargill Foundation, and Public Health Institute. Ms. Valuy provides technical consulting services to help foundations, non-profits, and corporate clients strategize their programmatic approaches, plan for program evaluation, and build their staff capacity in using, managing, and conducting M&E.
