Au Pair Scholarship

The Au Pair Scholarship offers a one-time $3,500 competitive scholarship for those who were au pairs in the United States under the J-1 visa program between 2009 and 2018. Eligible recipients may use this funding to further their education, which includes, but is not limited to, degree-seeking programs, certificate programs, or job training. Funding may be used for eligible programs that began as early as September 2021 through programs that will begin as late as June 2023. However, all recipients will be required to provide proof of enrollment to IIE by February 28, 2023.

The Au Pair Scholarship was created by au pairs for au pairs. IIE is able to offer this scholarship through a cy pres declaration from the Civil Case No. 14-cv-03074-CMA-KMT class action lawsuit. All eligible recipients must be a class member of this lawsuit.
