Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program | Deadlines & Timeline | Summer Timeline

Summer 2016 Timelines

Students with programs beginning between May 1, 2016 and August 1, 2016 (that meet the program length minimum of four weeks) can apply to either or both summer 2016 application cycles outlined below. Depending on the student's study abroad program or international internship commitment deadlines, students can determine the summer application cycle that best meets their timeline of notification.

All applicants are notified of the status of their application via email. Study abroad and financial aid advisors will be notified of scholarship recipients via email and will be able to view applicants and recipient statuses in their Gilman advisor account. A list of the awards offered will be available on the Gilman website. If an applicant for the summer 2016 early application is not selected, they may re-apply during the summer 2016 application cycle as long as they continue to meet the Gilman Scholarship Program's eligibility criteria.

Please be aware that the application deadline is in Central Time and take into consideration the applicable time difference as you prepare to submit your application.
