No adequate set of words describes the collective pain and outrage that we feel in light of the devastating racial injustices that continue to divide our country. We stand in solidarity with those raising their voices for justice and grieve for those who have tragically lost their lives. Racism and inequality are inherently contradictory to our mission. Though IIE has worked for over a century to build a more peaceful, equitable world, we realize there is much work to be done.

We understand that we must continue to stand together, not stand by. In support of our team members, we are working with our Diversity & Inclusion Committee to forge pathways for engagement and expand dialogue on the issues of systemic racism and injustices surrounding Black Americans. IIE will continue to foster peace and mutual understanding domestically and internationally to create a more just and equitable world for all.
