The Gilman Scholarship Program diversifies the kinds of students who study and intern abroad and the countries and regions where they go by awarding over 2,300 scholarships of up to $5,000. Gilman Global Experience Correspondents
Gilman Scholars are given an opportunity to record videos during their study or intern abroad program that is centered around an academic theme & share them with classrooms back in the U.S. This program is made possible through collaboration between the Gilman Scholarship Program & the non-profit organization Reach the World.

Gilman Alumni Ambassadors
The Gilman Alumni Ambassadors are a diverse group of Gilman Scholarship recipients who have studied or interned abroad in various countries around the world. They are official ambassadors of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program providing presentations and promotional outreach to university and college campuses around the nation to students and advisors interested in learning more about the Gilman Scholarship Program. The Gilman Alumni Ambassadors have been trained by the Gilman Scholarship Program.

U.S. Institution Advisor Video Series
U.S. Institution advisors and Gilman Selection Panelists provide helpful advice on how to compose strong and compelling essays and how to submit a competitive application. Furthermore, advisors explain how the Gilman International Scholarship has impacted their campus and their students.
