The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, a graduate university in Saudi Arabia, opened its doors in 2009 inspiring a new era of scientific achievement in the Kingdom, the region, and the world.

IIE administered a KAUST Fellowship program from 2008-2010. The program enabled graduating seniors and recent graduates in science and technology seeking an advanced degree in one of KAUST's 11 fields of study and interested in collaborating on innovative research with preeminent faculty and graduate students from around the world.
While IIE no longer administers this program, KAUST continues to engage students, faculty, and researchers in advancing science and technology through bold and collaborative inquiry focused on issues of regional and global significance.
