The Global Engineering Education Exchange (Global Eł)

Global Eł is an international exchange program for engineering students at member institutions. The program offers the opportunity for American students to study in one of 17 countries overseas, and for international students at partner campuses to study in the United States. The program is designed to allow students to take courses overseas for credit at their home institutions.

Engineering and computer science students from Global Eł consortium member institutions can study abroad for one semester or a full academic year. Students are also given the opportunity to complement their study abroad experience with an internship after one semester of study abroad.

*NEW MEMBERS!*
We are excited to announce that two universities have joined the Global E3 consortium, one on either side of "the pond"!

The Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering is located in Massachusetts, and will soon be sending and receiving students from overseas (expected to start in the Spring of 2009).

The University of Leeds, in the UK, has also joined, and isready to accept US applicants and send their best engineering students to the US consortium members immediately!

*UPDATES*
We have updated the US university listing to be more readable and user-friendly. Applicants to the program from abroad, you will notice these changes in "Participating Institutions". We will be making similar changes to the remaining university listings in the coming months, and will keep everyone posted of our progress.
