The IIE Andrew Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education
NEW YORK, September 8, 2017—Nominations for the 2018 Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education are now open.
IIE’s Heiskell Awards showcase the most innovative and successful models for internationalization of campuses, study abroad, and international partnership programs in practice today. IIENetwork members around the world are eligible for the Heiskell Award. For information about IIENetwork membership, please contact membership@iie.org or visit IIENetwork Membership. Nominations will be reviewed by the internal and external Heiskell Award Evaluation Committees in November.
Winning programs will be recognized at IIE’s Best Practices Conference in NYC on March 16, 2018. All winning programs will be showcased on the IIE website and in the IIENetworker magazine. Winners will be presented with an award certificate and a $1,000 prize (shared by the winning institutions in the partnership categories).
The Awards were named for the late Andrew Heiskell, a former chairman of Time Inc. and a long-time member of the Executive Committee of IIE’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Heiskell was a renowned international and cultural philanthropist and a dedicated supporter of international education.
