IIE is pleased to attend the WISE 12 Summit in Doha. Themed, “Humanity.IO: Human Values At The Heart Of Education,” the Summit will examine how bold change, anchored in human values, can ensure that education remains adaptable, accessible, and relevant.

New Report: WISE Global Consortium on AI, Higher Education, and the Global Workforce
In a continuation of IIE and WISE’s collaborative research initiative—the Global Consortium on Artificial Intelligence and Higher Education for Workforce Development—Mirka Martel, Ph.D., will present findings from the newly released report, WISE Global Consortium on AI, Higher Education, and the Global Workforce.
The report offers a nuanced look at how AI is reshaping higher education systems worldwide, examining insights from seven university partners based in Qatar, Colombia, Ghana, India, Kazakhstan, Spain, and the United States.

Qatar Scholarship for Afghans Project (QSAP)
In addition, the IIE delegation will be present to support panels about the groundbreaking Qatar Scholarship for Afghans Project (QSAP). Supported by the Afghan Future Fund (AFF), Education Above All Foundation (EAA), Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD), and Yalda Hakim Foundation (YHF), the Qatar Scholarship for Afghans Project (QSAP) works to restore educational access for Afghan youth. Since 2021, QSAP has helped more than 275 displaced Afghan students continue their education at universities in multiple countries.
