Sarah Ilchman Receives the IIE Century Medal

New York, July 22, 2026 — In recognition of her unique and powerful contributions to international education, academic freedom and the advancement of international relations, IIE hereby confers the IIE Century Medal on Sarah Ilchman.  For over 30 years, Sarah Ilchman has been dedicated to the Institute and its mission.  This medal is bestowed with deep gratitude for her contributions in building a more peaceful and equitable world and providing opportunities for students, scholars and artists.
