IIENetworker Fall 2020: More Essential Than Ever, The Case for International Education

The COVID-19 pandemic has had unprecedented global scale and impact. There are countless ways in which the daily lives of people from all corners of the world have been affected. The international education community – global and mobile by nature –aces new challenges and uncertainties each day: from supporting students affected by COVID-19, to developing online courses, to making decisions about future semesters with little concrete information. In the Fall 2020 issue of the IIENetworker magazine, More Essential Than Ever, a diverse group of IIENetwork members share their stories of resilience, innovation, and collaboration. IIE is proud to contribute data, talking points, and thoughts from our global offices as tools to assist educators as they continue to make the case for internationalization on their campus.
