What is the ExxonMobil Romanian Geoscience Scholars Program?
Funded by ExxonMobil and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), the goal of the program is to sponsor future leaders in the geoscience field who can develop and cultivate global competency, innovative capacities and critical thinking skills to address the needs of Romania and their home communities.

Where is it?
The program provides full funding for applicants to pursue a Master’s degree in Geoscience at a university in the United Kingdom.
Who is eligible?
Students in Romania who will have a Diploma de Licenţă or Diploma de Inginer by July 2014 and who have an interest in pursuing a Master’s degree in the Geosciences are encouraged to apply.

What is included?
Recipients will receive full tuition, housing and living stipends, medical insurance, and textbook and computer allowances. The award also includes transportation to the U.K. at the inception of the program and transportation home at the conclusion of the program, visa support and academic advising.
