ExxonMobil Russian Scholars Program

About the program

Funded by ExxonMobil, the goal of the program is to identify future leaders in the geosciences who can develop and cultivate global competency, innovative capacities and critical thinking skills to address the needs of Russia and their home communities.


Who should apply?

Citizens of Russia who have a Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences with an interest in pursuing a Masters degree in the Geosciences are encouraged to apply. Though applicants do not need to be currently residing in Russia, they must demonstrate Russian Citizenship.


Where is it?

The program provides full funding for applicants to pursue a Master’s degree in Geoscience at a university in either the United States or United Kingdom.


What is included?

Recipients will receive full tuition, housing and living expenses, medical insurance, textbook and computer allowance. The award also includes transportation to the U.S. or U.K. at the inception and conclusion of the program, visa and academic support, and an intensive orientation program.
