She received the “Outstanding Youth Award” by Chinese Natural Science Foundation (CNSF) in 2007, and was the recipient of Natural Science Award from Chinese Ministry of Education (2nd place) in 2010. Her research interests encompass fundamental study of bio-thermal physics, cancer thermal therapy, and medical device supported by NCI and NSF while in US, and subsequently by Chinese NSF, key national center grants from Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. She has been elected to Fellows of ASME, AIBME, IAMBE. She is currently serving as Vice President of Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, Vice president of Shanghai Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Vice Director of Association of Graduate Education in China.
