Dow Jones International Scholarship Program

Between 1996 and 2020, IIE worked closely with the Dow Jones Foundation to administer the Dow Jones International Scholarship Program. IIE preformed the following activities on behalf of the Dow Jones Foundation to administer the program.

  • Managed all program correspondence
  • Sent appropriate academic applications to each qualified candidate
  • Received and validated completion of submitted applications and supplemental documents
  • Facilitated an independent selection process
  • Evaluated award winners for financial need
  • Determined the amount of each award
  • Final notification to applicants of their selection
  • Maintained contact with each grantee during the course of approved program of study
  • Confirmed ongoing full-time enrollment and good academic standing
  • Processed grant award payments for all eligible award winners and all eligible renewal awards
