December 13, 2023: IIE Pledges to Grow Education in Emergencies Efforts During Global Refugee Forum
IIE issued two pledges in support of the UNHCR Global Refugee Forum in Geneva, IIE. First, IIE pledged to leverage its network to increase the placement of refugee students at higher education institutions. Second, in support of the first pledge, the Odyssey Scholarship pledged to award 120 new IIE Odyssey scholarships over the next four years. Read more at the link.

The IIE Odyssey Scholarship was featured in the October 2023 edition of UNHCR’s Global Refugee Higher Education Newsletter. The feature provided an overview of the program and showcased the Scholarship’s third cohort, comprised of 25 women and 15 men studying at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
