Tyla That Girl Music Scholarship

Applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  1. Full-time undergraduate students studying in or near one of the cities in the U.S. or in any city in South Africa:
  • New York, NY 
  • Washington, DC 
  • Atlanta, GA 
  • Tampa, FL 
  • Houston, TX 
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • South Africa
  1. Enrollment requirements vary by location:
    United States: I am enrolled full time in a music or art-related major at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. during the 2026–2027 academic year.
    South Africa: I am either (1) enrolled full time in a music or art-related major at an accredited four-year university (or equivalent institution) in South Africa during the 2026 calendar year, or (2) a Grade 12 student who will begin a full-time music or art-related degree program at an accredited four-year university (or equivalent institution) in South Africa during the 2027 calendar year.
  2. If studying in the U.S., demonstrate financial need by submitting a financial aid package. 
  3. Demonstrate academic excellence and meet the minimum 3.0 GPA requirement. 
  4. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older by the application deadline of October 30, 2026.
