Scholarship awards will range from $500 to $2,500 for one academic year. Awards are contingent on having at least U.S. GPA equivalent of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in a full-time STEM course of study.
Employees must be active employees, or reach retiree status as defined by the Chevron benefits department during the duration of the scholarship program. Retirees must have either a minimum of 75 points as calculated by Chevron Human Resources, or 20 years of service prior to retirement. In addition, retirees must not be employed at a competitive energy company. Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Scholarships are intended to assist students as they pursue undergraduate study and are NOT intended to cover all educational expenses. Recipients are responsible for the balance of funding, including tuition and fees, books and supplies, living expenses, and transportation.
