TOEFL ITP in the United States
IIE is the Country Master Distributor of the TOEFL ITP® tests in the U.S., continuing our collaboration with ETS to expand the reach of TOEFL ITP assessment tools to advance access to educational opportunities. Organizations can become a TOEFL ITP test center.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. To be eligible for the Gilman Program, applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant during the time of application or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant during the term of their study abroad program or internship. The Gilman Program broadens the student population that studies and interns abroad by supporting undergraduates who might not otherwise participate due to financial constraints. The program aims to encourage students to study and intern in a diverse array of countries or areas and world regions.

Global Engineering Education Exchange Consortium
Recognizing a growing demand for internationally-experienced engineering graduates, a group of leading universities around the world established the Global Engineering Education Exchange (Global E³) in 1995. Global E³ is an exchange program for engineering students: a student can study abroad while continuing to pay tuition at home. With member universities in over 20 countries, students at over 70 universities have the opportunity to study abroad. Global E³ exchanges about 250-300 students a year.

IIE Senior International Officer (SIO) of the Year Award
Nominations are now open for the IIE Senior International Officer (SIO) of the Year Award, presented annually to an SIO who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in internationalization. Self-nominations and third-party nominations looking at the career trajectory of a SIO should be submitted by June 24th for consideration.
