Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be undergraduate or graduate ROTC cadets or midshipmen who are both contracted and on track to commission through the Army, Naval, or Air Force ROTC at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States. Newly commissioned officers awaiting active duty (limited to officers commissioning in May 2025) are also eligible.

Eligible applicants must be an alumnus/a of the National Security Education Program‘s Project Global Officer (GO), Boren Awards, and/or The Language Flagship. Language Flagship students must have applied to a Flagship Capstone program in order to be eligible for nomination and must be admitted to Capstone before April 2025. Alumni of the Language Flagship and Project GO programs must be nominated by their program director to apply. Please see the Nomination page for more details.
