Himpunan Wanita Disabilitas Indonesia (HWDI) is a local Disabled Persons’ Organization whose members are women that are visually impaired, deaf, and mute. Their main activities include advocacy on behalf of people with disabilities. The organization was founded in 1997 in response to the need to provide protection to women with disabilities who are often double-marginalized. HWDI is a centralized association with branches in 34 provinces in Indonesia, and sub-branches in 15 districts in East Java alone. HWDI was responsible for implementing JAPRI’s persons with disabilities activities.

Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF), which has extensive experience in training as well as outreach for scholarship across Indonesia, provided outreach and communication expertise for JAPRI during its pilot phase and conducted campaigns in targeted locations.

Kelompok Perempuan dan Sumber Sumber Kehidupan (KPS2K) has provided women’s leadership training to women and P&V youth since its creation in December 2004. It is an affiliate of Institut Kapal Perempuan Indonesia, a community of gender-focused organizations in Indonesia. KPS2K’s experience includes facilitating the gender watch for the Government of Indonesia’s social protection programs. They have also implemented an Australian Government (DFAT) and Government of Indonesia (BAPPENAS) partnership project called MAMPU, which focused on working to improve the access of poor women to essential services and other government programs to support gender equality, women’s empowerment, and the achievement of Government of Indonesia Sustainable Development Goals targets. KPS2K was responsible for delivering gender training activities under the JAPRI Women’s Economic Empowerment component.

Mien R. Uno Foundation (MRUF) created an entrepreneurship curriculum to train nearly 300 university students in West and Central Java. They also developed and implemented an intensive coaching model that uses volunteer coaches to support young entrepreneurs. MRUF maintains a strong university network, and operates in Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya. MRUF led JAPRI Full Implementation activities that engaged universities and supported JAPRI WEE activities, including the recruitment of its participants. MRUF was responsible for delivering training of trainers, entrepreneurship seminars/public lectures, and coaching/mentoring for participants.

Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI), has developed entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness curriculum targeting secondary school students, engaging more than 23,500 P&V youth since 2014. Operating in 11 provinces and special administrative areas, PJI brings a decade of experience and strong relationships with local officials and civil society organizations in the East Java Province. PJI led JAPRI activities that engaged with local governments in East Java during the program’s pilot and Full Implementation phases.
