Women entrepreneurs encouraged to apply to WES-Up, a competitive new accelerator and business growth initiative for women across 9 governorates

WES-Up offers women entrepreneurs a path to business growth. Through one-on-one coaching, technical assistance, strategic growth planning and networking opportunities, women entrepreneurs will reach new markets, forge partnerships, develop products or services, and access financial resources.

The Women’s Enterprise for Sustainability (WES) program Expands to 11 Regions Across Tunisia

The Women’s Enterprise for Sustainability (WES), with generous funding from the United States Government, announces the launch of five new Centers for Women’s Business Development in Beja, Bizerte, El Kef, Touzeur and Tataouine. With the expansion of the program to five new regions, the program now supports women entrepreneurs through 13 Centers across 11 regions of Tunisia.

IIE’s Center for Women’s Leadership Initiatives Announces Winners of the WES Business Award in Tunisia

The Institute of International Education (IIE) announced today the 24 Tunisian women entrepreneurs who will receive the first ever WES Business Award. The winners are aspiring and emerging women entrepreneurs who have benefited from training at eight Women’s Enterprise for Sustainability (WES) Entrepreneurship Centers across Tunisia. The winners will receive small grants, with a combined total of $20,000 USD, to help them launch or expand businesses.

Institute of International Education Center for Women’s Leadership Initiatives Launches New Program for Women Entrepreneurs in Tunisia

The Institute of International Education (IIE) Center for Women’s Leadership Initiatives is partnering with eight women-led organizations in Tunisia to deliver leadership, social media, e-commerce and entrepreneurship training to emerging and established women entrepreneurs throughout the country. The new program, Women’s Enterprise for Sustainability (WES), is funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) of the U.S. Department of State.
