Additionally, we know that as millions of Syrians settle – potentially permanently – in Europe, North America, and parts of the Middle East-North Africa region, education presents an important alternative to crime and radicalization. Today, the Scholar Rescue Fund is answering this call by encouraging universities to provide scholarships to qualified Syrian students and offering funding to host institutions that offer temporary positions for Syrian scholars.
