HELP INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IMPACTED BY THE LOS ANGELES WILDFIRES

The California wildfires have wreaked havoc and devastation on the residents of Los Angeles. Among these residents are over 30,000 international students enrolled in higher education institutions in the Los Angeles metro region. Financial support is critical because international students in the U.S. have restrictions on their employment – including how many hours they can work and whether they can work off-campus – making it even more difficult to stay afloat during an emergency.

Your gift to IIE’s Emergency Student Fund will help send rapid grants to international students financially impacted by the fires in the greater Los Angeles area. The grants will help support basic necessities like evacuation and relocation needs, property expenses, medical costs, housing, books, and tuition fees.

With your help, students in the Los Angeles region can start to pick up the pieces and continue their higher education journeys.
