IIE is responding to the ongoing pandemic by continuing to provide critical aid to international students in the U.S. This spring IIE has supported 203 students who are struggling to meet basic needs like food and shelter.
Because of the severity and duration of this crisis, the number of students needing help continue to outweigh the number we can support. A generous group of donors has provided over $110,000 to match all gifts for students affected by COVID-19. Your gift will pack TWICE the impact and is 100% tax-deductible.
With your help we can do more. You can sponsor an additional student with a gift of $2,000, or join other donors with any amount.
Please make a gift to IIE’s Emergency Student Fund and help more students who are in need right now.

Tax Incentives for Charitable Giving in 2021
Congress has recognized that the gifts generous donors make to nonprofits are an essential way everyone can help in this crisis. You can help IIE support students and scholars while saving on your 2021 income taxes.
For those who don’t itemize their taxes: You can deduct up to $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple) for charitable contributions.
For those who do itemize: You can deduct up to 100% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) for charitable contributions.
As always, you should consult your tax advisors. IIE does not provide tax advice.
