Center for Strategic and International Studies Briefs
The CSIS briefs are a collaboration with IIE to analyze key questions related to international educational exchange between the United States and Latin America and the Caribbean, from a public diplomacy perspective. The research leverages historical data from the Open Doors® Report on International Educational Exchange and other key sources on academic mobility between the two regions and contributes insights regarding the value of educational exchange for public diplomacy.

The Consortium for Analysis of Student Success through International Education (CASSIE)
CASSIE – the Consortium for Analysis of Student Success through International Education – is a national consortium and data project dedicated to improving research on the impact of international education interventions, including study abroad, foreign language learning, and Title VI programs.

Global Education Research Report Series
The Global Education Research Report series is a joint initiative of the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) Foundation and IIE. The series includes papers on trending topics related to international students enrolled at U.S. institutions and U.S. students studying abroad.

Global Internship and Career Readiness
This joint CIEE and IIE research study features data from eight stakeholder organizations that facilitate internship experiences for study abroad students through their organization. It explores the professional outcomes of study abroad alumni who engaged in an internship while overseas and highlights the impact of the global internship experience on the alumni’s reported development of 21st-century skills and the relevance in their careers today.

Global Mobility Trends Report Series
The Global Mobility Trends Report Series is a joint initiative by IC3 Institute and IIE that brings together the latest trends in global student mobility with insights from the counseling field. The reports highlight guidance and training resources to support high schools worldwide that advise students on post-secondary study outside of their home country.

Global Workforce Pathways
Global Workforce Pathways measures the impact of Title VI programs on developing a pool of language and area studies experts to support national needs by focusing on the outcomes of National Resource Center graduates and their placement in government, education, and the private sector.

Graduate Learning Overseas (GLO)
The Graduate Learning Overseas (GLO) project is a three-year initiative focused on U.S. graduate student mobility. IIE is invested in collecting comprehensive study abroad data – including data on graduate learning overseas – so that higher education stakeholders can best serve students at all levels.

IIE Snapshot Series
The Snapshots are a series of reports presenting up-to-date information on international educational exchange trends in the United States. These reports provide critical insights about the current landscape and complement the Open Doors® Report on International Educational Exchange.

Open Doors
Open Doors® is a comprehensive information resource on international students and scholars studying or teaching at higher education institutions in the United States, and U.S. students studying abroad for academic credit at their home colleges or universities. This survey of international exchange activity in the United States is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and supported in its implementation by IIE.

Project Atlas
Project Atlas® is a global research initiative that disseminates comparable student mobility data, conducts studies on academic migration and the internationalization of higher education, and provides customized workshops and research to strengthen the collection of mobility data around the world.
