Overview
IIE’s Hong Kong office, founded in 1967, manages scholarship programs for sponsors such as the Avery Dennison Foundation, the GE Foundation, and the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). IIE also manages short-term development programs for the Dragon Foundation and the Lingnan Foundation’s W.T. Chan Fellowships, and coordinates annual U.S. Higher Education Fairs across Asia including in China and Hong Kong. IIE offers a range of English assessment and academic and professional tests for schools, businesses and individuals and is the official representative of ETS TOEIC®, TOEFL ITP® and SSAT in Hong Kong and Macau.
Since 1982 IIE has organized education fairs that enable U.S. institutions, from high schools to graduate programs, to meet face-to-face with thousands of students across Asia. IIE Hong Kong coordinates the annual IIE U.S. Higher Education fair series in key cities in six countries across Asia as well as the annual North American boarding school fair in Hong Kong.
IIE administers over 200 programs serving more than 20,000 individuals each year. IIE Hong Kong offers a number of scholarship, fellowship and leadership training opportunities for students from Hong Kong, Macau, China and across Asia.
IIE offers a range of English assessment and academic and professional tests for schools, businesses and individuals and is the official representative of ETS TOEIC®, TOEFL ITP® and SSAT in Hong Kong and Macau. IIE also advises on U.S. academic entrance tests such as ACT, SAT, GRE and TOEFL.
