News & Events

On Tuesday, April 23, in honor of National Volunteer Month in the United States, IIE San Francisco staff will volunteer at Upwardly Global, an organization that works to “eliminate employment barriers for skilled immigrants and refugees and integrate this population into the professional U.S. workforce.” Staff will run practice interviews with foreign-born job seekers during a mock Interviewing Skills Workshop in San Francisco, California.

What services are available at this office?

Global Scholarships
IIESF provides program design; outreach services; application and marketing material design; recruitment and facilitation of selection panels; student advising; and grant management.

Professional Exchanges
IIESF manages a variety of exchange programs in higher education, leadership development, and teacher exchange with topics ranging from women's empowerment to STEM field innovation.

Development Initiatives
IIESF has tested successful models for working with NGOs around the world in building their local capacity and expanding their reach, ultimately improving their ability to support underserved populations in their communities and beyond.
