Program Updates

WeTech Technovation Challenge FinalistsTwo teams from the WeTech Afterschool Program in Bangalore, India were selected as finalists for the 2015 Technovation Challenge. The teams competed at the World Pitch Event in San Francisco where Team The X-Women finished with honorable mentions in the top five while Team Pentechan took home the grand prize of $10,000.

Techwomen AIEF awardeesThe U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) announced the winners of the 2015 Alumnae Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). Four teams consisting of TechWomen alumnae cohorts from Lebanon, Rwanda, Cameroon and Kenya were among the winners.
