Since 2000, the Institute of International Education has been one of the leading organizations conducting leadership development programs in Ethiopia in collaboration with local partners. In 2008, we established and registered the office in Addis Ababa to serve Ethiopia and the sub-Saharan Africa region. To date, Over 1000 individuals in the public, private and non-governmental sectors throughout the country have benefited from IIE’s programs and ongoing interventions.

We are currently committed to expansion of leadership development and higher education programs not only in Ethiopia but throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Our staff capabilities include design and facilitation of small and large scale meetings for strategic results, leadership program design and implementation, scholarship management, and participatory training design and implementation. Staff also has experience in public health, social work, urban development and planning, communications, and education.

IIE is legally registered with the Government of Ethiopia’s Charities and Societies Agency.
