TOEFL JUNIOR®

Grow your students’ potential with the TOEFL Junior® test

The TOEFL Junior® test is designed to accurately and reliably assess the English communication skills of students aged 11 and older who are in middle school and early high school. Based on the strong foundation of the TOEFL®, this test provides a detailed analysis of each student’s strengths and areas for improvement.

Like all TOEFL® assessments, the TOEFL Junior® test is grounded in rigorous research that ensures fairness, validity, and reliability, reflecting best practices in language assessment.

Scores and Alignment with International Standards
  • Scores align with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), facilitating comparison with international standards.
  • Reading comprehension scores are linked to MetaMetrics® Lexile® measures, helping educators find appropriate books and materials for each English reading level.
TOEFL Junior® Standard

The TOEFL Junior® Standard test, available in a convenient paper-based format, is easy to administer in any educational setting. It is an excellent option for institutions and programs seeking flexibility and fast score reporting.
