Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program

The program aims to provide educational exchange experiences which would be valuable not only to the scholar, but also to the recipient's home institution, its faculty, and its students, as well as to the U.S. host institution. Fulbright Scholars serve as cultural ambassadors; they should be prepared to speak not only about their research with academic colleagues but also about their country and culture with academic and community groups.

The program provides opportunities to Ukrainian scholars and professionals to establish new contacts with academic and professional colleagues in the U.S.; to develop collaborative research relationships with U.S. scholars and professionals; and to pursue scholarly work in the U.S. without interruption. Grant recipients will have free and open use of their host institution's extensive library resources to enhance their knowledge, gather literature unavailable in Ukraine, and to revise or create new scholarly publications.
